How to add it to your Shopify store
Three options, depending on your theme:
- In the product description: open the product, switch the editor to HTML mode (the <> button), then paste the code.
- In a dedicated block: create a "Size guide" section in your product template and paste the code there.
- On a standalone page: create a "Size guide" page and link it from your product pages.
Tip: measure your garments flat and convert to body measurements to avoid mismatches. An accurate guide beats a pretty one.

Two rules make a size chart template work rather than decorate the page. Give measurements as ranges, not single values — a single number invites the shopper to disqualify themselves. And state explicitly whether you are listing body or garment measurements, because shoppers who measure the wrong thing order the wrong size and blame your chart.
Using it as a size chart maker for other categories
The same tool works as a general size chart maker: you define the columns, so nothing limits it to womenswear. The common variations:
- Bottoms — swap bust for inseam and keep waist and hip.
- Footwear — UK, EU and US columns plus foot length in centimetres, the only measurement a shopper can take reliably at home.
- Kidswear — lead with height as well as age, and treat age as the rough guide it is.
- Unisex tops — publish chest and body length, and add a line on intended fit, because “unisex M” means nothing on its own.
Whichever variant you publish, keep one chart per product type rather than one for the whole store. A single global table is the most common reason a size guide gets ignored.
